They are so smooth, many people mistake them for silk! Double-ply fabrics, with 2 yarns twisted together to form a thread, are stronger. The high yarn count ranging from 100's to 200's (currently the highest in the world) means that the cloths are very smooth, extremely comfortable and have a lovely lustre. Beware of imitations.
